The MAKERS partners met in person for the first time in a regular project meeting. The meeting took place in the period 30 June – 1 July 2022 and was hosted in Bulgaria by the Technical University of Gabrovo. All project partners were represented. The Agenda focused on finalizing the training materials included in Outputs 1 and 2. In addition, work on the classroom guide (Output 3) was started with a brainstorming session and a session on joint development of the output. The partners further discussed dissemination and exploitation activities, including the progress of the MAKERS eTwinning project. Plans were made to continue current efforts at involving the key stakeholders in the main project activities.
Due to the great interest in the project among schools, and the difficulties in reaching both students and teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic, the partners decided unanimously to ask for a 6-month extension of the MAKERS project. During these additional 6 months, more emphasis will be put on exploiting the outputs and working with interested students and teachers on various school projects.
